The Superbuy Product Research Hub teaches users how to organize product reference information, interpret QC photos, evaluate links and build category-based research notes. This is an independent resource, not a product verification service.
Building a Product Research Workflow
Effective product research follows a structured workflow: discovery, verification, comparison and documentation. Each phase serves a different purpose and reduces the likelihood of unpleasant surprises after purchase. This guide explains how to build your own research workflow using available resources.
Discovery Phase
Start with spreadsheet resources to discover items in your categories of interest. Use filters and search functions to narrow results. Save promising finds in a personal document or note-taking app. Include the item name, category, link, estimated price and any initial observations. Building a discovery list gives you a pool of candidates to evaluate rather than forcing immediate decisions.
Verification Phase
For each promising item, verify the link opens to an active marketplace listing. Read the full description, not just the title. Examine all listing photos carefully. Check the size chart against your measurements. Read recent buyer reviews if available. Look for red flags such as unclear photos, missing size charts, unusually low prices or sellers with poor feedback. Remove items from your candidate list that do not pass verification.
Comparison Phase
Compare your verified candidates against each other and against your original goals. Does the item match the style you wanted? Is the price within budget? How does the size chart compare to your measurements? Are there similar items from different sellers with better reviews or clearer photos? Comparison prevents impulse decisions and helps identify the best option within your constraints.
Documentation Phase
Document your final selections before ordering. Save screenshots of the listing, size chart and price. Note the seller name and any relevant details. This documentation becomes valuable during QC review, when you can compare warehouse photos against your saved listing screenshots. Good documentation also helps with future haul planning by building a personal reference library of items, sizes and sellers.
Category-Specific Research Notes
Different product categories require different research priorities. Footwear research should focus on insole measurements, material durability notes and sole construction details. Clothing research prioritizes size chart accuracy, fabric composition and stitching quality. Accessories research emphasizes hardware quality, logo accuracy and functional details. Tailor your verification checklist to the category you are researching.
Using QC Photos as Research References
QC photos provide visual confirmation after ordering but can also inform future research. When community members share QC experiences in spreadsheet comments or forums, note what they observed. Did an item consistently show loose stitching? Did sizing run large or small? Did colors match expectations? This community QC intelligence feeds back into your research workflow for future purchases.
Research Ethics and Limitations
We do not verify products, inspect items or guarantee research accuracy. All content on this hub is educational reference material. Product listings change. Seller practices shift.
